About us
I’m Tamás Földesi, I got my certificate in haidressing during my university years. I moved to Debrecen to begin my studies as sociologist when I realized I wanted to be a haidresser.
It was really hard to finish the university and become a haidresser at the same time. In my first days I had to face the prejudice of colleagues and the clients. They used to judge me because of taking only the haidresser course. They used to think that the knowledge and experience I had gained in this really tight period wasn’t not enough to take up the job. They turned out to be wrong. My master was Sándor Szél. I was very impressed by my master's vision and his teaching which has had a great impact on my work ethic, haircut techniques and on my communication with the clients.
Though I have had a lot of struggles and difficulties, I can confidently state, for now I work in my own salon. I plan to further develop my skills and my own place too, nevertheless it depends on many factors.
What I’m really proud of: my family, my wife and my friends. Because without them I wouldn’t stand here. I’m so grateful to all of my clients they are still with me, the loyalty is a big treasure nowadays. There are some fields of my profession, in which my level of competence is lower, but I’ve gained great professional experience in male haircuts.
I never have taken part in any workshops, but I don’t mind it since my master has taught me everything that I should know and the skill of visualizing how a hairstyle would end up perfectly.
Obviously I keep up with the latest trends of fashion and hairstyles, on the Instagram and other social media platforms.
My motto: to be a humble perfectionist. I’m lucky, I have a chance to work and practice my hobby at the same time. I’m grateful for every moment I can spend on this wonderful journey of becoming a better person and craftsman.
